Finally the ski hills will re-open this weekend,  Winter is approaching and the forecast is for snowy weather.  To qualify as a typical Banffite you will have to love Winter or move away! My last guided hike took us last week to Lake Bourgeau and Harvey Pass. We braved the first half meter of snow on our way through the windy corner above Bourgeau Lake.
